About Me

I have been writing on (and off) the web since 1998.   In 2000, I began writing in various personal – and group – blogs.  Since 2002, I’ve served as a staff member for the EZine, All Things Girl.  Even though I write regularly about myself, I have never quite mastered the perfect bio.

I think part of that is because I am good at times at compartmentalizing my life. I have my business persona which is the well-organized, big-picture-thinking consultant specializing in project management, my writer’s persona, which is the word-loving reader and over-a-cup-of-coffee view on my life.   In the compartmentalization of my life, I find my personal tends to get set aside – and for the time being, I’m just fine with that.

No matter which persona I am inhabiting, though, there are some constants about me that do not change.

Life is about passion; it is about a zest for life and value for for every big – and little – thing that makes life rewarding.  Life is truly short and you must appreciate what you are given.   I believe that food is to be savored and friends are to be loved. I believe traveling has introduced me to a whole other side of my personality that I call my gypsy-soul. I believe that learning about yourself and finding ways to further yourself is some of the hardest thinking you will ever do – but also the most rewarding.

My guiding principal for 2010 is faith, as I wind my way through the changes in my life over the past few years.   My words from 2009 are quietly in the past, and my words from 2008,  Passion, Courage and Forgiveness, still speak to me strongly.    Here on the blog, you will simply find my thoughts about this thing I call my life.  (I am in other places on the net.   I provide 140 character bursts of thoughts over on Twitter.  For friends and family, I can also be found on Facebook,  etc..)

Don’t forget to send me a postcard from the thing that is YOUR life. We always love it when you write :)
